Arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you'll be met at the airport and transfer to an iconic Rio de Janeiro hotel.

Private transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for your flight to Iguassu

Meet and Greet at Iguassu airport and transfer to your hotel, which is situated right at the edge of the falls.

CHILE

DAY 7

Private overland transfer to Explora Patagonia.

Stay in the iconic Explora lodge located in the centre of the Torres Del Paine National Park. You will arrive to a warm welcome and will be shown around before spending the afternoon at your own leisure exploring the grounds or spending time in the spa.

Overnight: Explora, Patagonia. Full Board.

DAY 8 & 9

From here you will have your own guide and a choice of over 40 different hikes and horseback rides taking in the breathtaking views of glaciers, lakes and mountains in the National Park. Tours are in small groups with Hotel guests.

Private overland transfer from Explora Patagonia to Punta Arenas Airport

Fly to Santiago

Reception at Santiago airport and transfer to the Hotel

DAY 12, 13 & 14

Here you'll have a choice of explorations to take you in to this unique environment, all led by bilingual Guides.

Explorations are shared with Hotel guests in small groups.

DAY 15

Transfer from your Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to Hito Cajon (Border Chile-Bolivia)

From here you will visit the National Park Eduardo Avaroa, Laguna Verde, “Sol de Mañana” Geysers and Laguna Colorada

DAY 16

Breakfast and Lunch at the Camper

Full day visit to the salt flat and its surroundings

Afternoon transfer to Coquesa.

Stroll through the village and hike to the cave of the Coquesa Mummies.

Private transfer from La Paz to Huatajata at the shores of Titicaca Lake

Visit the Andean Roots Eco-Village & The Altiplano Museum

Overland transfer to Cocotoni and then hydrofoil cruise to Moon Island

Visit the Sun Virgins Temple “Iñak Uyu”

Lunch at the Uma Kollu archaeological restaurant

Hydrofoil cruise to Copacabana

Visit the shrine and the Dark Indian Virgin

Welcome drinks and dinner at your hotel

DAY 19

In the morning, your guides will take you by car and boat to visit the famed Uros floating islands, near the Titicaca National Reserve.

You will then explore Quechua beliefs and culture through the rich weaving tradition on the island of Taquile.

Picnic lunch during the tour.

Return to the hotel around 5:30pm and enjoy cocktails from 6:30pm and an á la carte dinner around 7:30pm.

DAY 20

Meet your representative at the hotel and escort to the airport for your flight to Cusco.

Arrive in Cusco, where you'll be met by the team and transferred to hotel.

DAY 21

Day at leisure exploring Cusco and acclimatising.

You will meet the trekking team in the afternoon to be briefed on the trek.

DAY 22

CUSCO TO K'AIRAHUIRI ALTO

Your journey begins with an early start. You'll get picked up from the hotel in Cusco and head south through the lush Vilcanota and Pitumarka Valleys. You'll then reach Hanchi Pacha where your hiking adventure begins. After a day full of spectacular views crossing valleys and passing local mountain communities, you'll reach your camping ground for the night at Káihuiri Alto (14925 ft / 4550 m). Here, a warm and exquisite dinner will be waiting for you under the starry sky.

DAY 23

K´AIRAHUIRI ALTO TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TO PUCACOCHA

You’ll have an early breakfast and then begin your hike up towards Vinicunca Pass (17,224 ft /5,250 m), the site of the famous Rainbow Mountains. After a challenging hike up you are rewarded with the amazingly vibrant colours of Vinicunca as well as the majestic views of Ausangate, a snow-capped mountain. After a well-deserved rest at this unique place, you'll continue your journey on to Pucacocha Lake (14,943 ft / 4,556 m) going over two passes: ‘Menos Ponco’(16,076 ft / 4,900 m) and ‘Chillca’ (16,732 ft / 5,100 m). The camp and dinner will be ready when you get there.

DAY 24

PUCACOCHA TO PALOMANI PASS TO CHILLCA

This is a stunning morning’s walk as you hike with the great Ausangate Mountain on your left hand side; you'll pass clear glacial lakes, and, if you're lucky, herds of local alpacas and llamas. The first pass is called Apacheta (15,091 ft / 4,600 m). From here you ascend to the Palomani Pass (17,056 ft / 5,200 m), the highest point of the trek. From the pass you follow the trail into the valley. During the afternoon you can enjoy views of the snow-capped Tres Picos and Puca Punta. You will continue through the broad green valley of Pampa Jutunpata and up the Rio Q'ampa Valley, where you will spend Night 3 of your trek.

DAY 25

Q´AMPA TO PACCHANTA

After passing through the small community of Q'ampa, you'll head northwest to the last pass of this hike, the Q'ampa pass (5000 meters/ 16400 feet). You will see several different colored lakes and lunch beside the beautiful blue-green Lake Q'omercocha (15,429 ft / 4704 m).

You'll then hike for several hours before arriving at the small village of Pacchanta (13,152 ft / 4010 m). This was traditionally a small high-altitude herding village like many others in the region. However, with the arrival of tourism, the village has adapted its activities to include demonstrations of their style of living and creation of weavings for visitors. You will set up camp near Pacchanta and you will have the afternoon free to explore this intriguing Andean village.

DAY 26

PACCHANTA TO CUSCO

Their morning is the last phase of the trek, before taking your private car back to Cusco. The scenic drive winds up and over a pass for a last glimpse of the imposing Ausangate Mountain, where you just spent 5 days trekking on one of the most fantastic trails of Perú! Even more fascinating is the fact that you will be one of the few people in the world who has accomplished the combined Vincunca Rainbow Mountain trek with the Ausangate circuit trek.

DAY 27

Flight from Cusco to Lima, connect with the flight to Santiago

Flight to Santiago (4 – 5 hrs Flight)

Reception at Santiago airport and transfer to the Hotel

DAY 28

Morning private transfer back to Santiago Airport for your flight to Easter Island (5 – 6 hrs flight).

You'll be met at Mataveri Airport and transferred to the Explora Hotel (shared transfer with hotel guests).

Lunch at the Hotel followed by an afternoon excursion of your choice.

Overnight: Explora Easter Island, Full Board.

DAY 29, 30 & 31

Time to explore this fascinating place, with options for full day trips and also half day trips which return to the hotel for lunch.

Explorations are shared with hotel guests in small groups – Bilingual guides can explain the history of the sites.

On the last night you can enjoy a farewell dinner at a local Rapa Nui house.

DAY 32

Transfer from your hotel to Mataveri Airport

Midday flight to Santiago for return flight home.
